I'm an introvert and a Zoom hater: I configured my desktop PC without a camera, and will change my mind only if and when some generous, insistent person pays for hair, makeup, and professional lighting. From the start, I participated in Zoom meetings grudgingly, with audio only, minimizing the images of fellow attendees so they didn't distract me. I do appreciate cutting down on car trips, parking, etc. But I'd be happiest communicating solely in writing. To my surprise, LinkedIn is beginning to fill that need for quiet, videoless connection.
